ABOUT

The Minnesota Tribal Environmental Committee (MNTEC) is comprised of environmental staff from Minnesota’s Tribal Nations and Treaty Authorities. Since 1998 MNTEC has met on a regular basis to discuss the concerns of Tribal environmental staff- as they are on the front-line of environmental issues- and work diligently towards viable solutions. The member-driven MNTEC meetings include a range of environmental and treaty rights topics with the speakers from the MNTEC members as well as staff from Federal agencies, State agencies, nonprofit organizations, and the private sector.
